Notable among these are Gun Hill, Lud’s Church, The Roaches, Tegs Nose, The Cloud, Rudyard Lake and Tittesworth Water to name but a few. Macclesfield Forrest is a few miles to the north with the Goyt valley close by. This is a ramblers and cyclists paradise with many friendly local hostelries offering excellent food and ales.
