Hi, I’m James Woolley, I’ve lived in the village all of my life at the top of Beat Lane. I work for Carrs Billington which is an animal feed company in Leek. I’ve been on the Parish Council for a few years now, and the main reason for joining was I wanted to try and broaden my experience and knowledge of something different. I also wanted to try and help out in whichever way possible. Since joining the council my main role and responsibility has been the location and installation of the child shaped speed awareness signs within the village. l strongly care about this lovely village and the community we have, and I wanted to give my view and opinion of someone of a different generation of the village and also who doesn’t live in the centre of the village.
